I think it's a sewer flushing head. I found it in the road- almost knocked me off my bicycle. It's four inches tall and just over two inches wide, weighs about 1.5 pounds. The rear (bottom) end is threaded. There are half a dozen little brass high pressure nozzles inset. I'm in the Sunnyvale/Los Altos area.
This design is steller! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
