here's a drawing of a recently completed this commissioned "Christmas Gift". I like to provide these to my clients so that they'll know what the hell their sculpture is constructed from. The folks seem to enjoy them. I've only gone to this level for a dozen or so pieces...I like it and should probably start doing it fer all of my Lockwasher Design creations

I had received a request two years ago to fabricate Doris from the Disney movie "Meet the Robinsons". Just recently I stumbled onto a handful of crab shell cracker tools and set about completing my mission. All aluminum horn mute "hat", a bunch of bicycle reflector arms, crab/lobster shell cracking tools, cantilever bike brake arms and the lens out of a microscope.
Character design credit to the original Disney artists....this is my Lockwasher interpetation of their work.

I'm back?

Wow, I just stumbled on to this old blog site (...last entry was sometime in '07) - jeeez!

I'll be dragging my vintage toy collection to this weekend's San Jose SUPER Toy Show. Held at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, 344 Tully Road, San Jose, CA 95111. There'll be a bunch of featured artist raning from actor LARRY THOMAS (A.K.A.) the SOUP NAZI from the SEINFELD TV show, incredibly tallented artist ERIC JOYNER, actor BOBBY CLARK from the 1960's Tv show STAR TREK (He played the GORN?!) SPECIAL GUEST super hottie spokes-model FLO JALIN ..oh yeah, and I was also featuerd on the event web site...go figure.
